Student Support Program (SSP)

Every CAMS student has access to the Student Support Program (SSP). The SSP assesses students’ needs in three developmental areas or domains (academic, career/college, and personal/social) and then works to address these needs.

  • Academic achievement refers to progress towards educational goals, as determined by data such as report cards, grade point averages, and standardized test scores (CAHSEE, PSAT, AP exams).
  • Career/College includes the necessary skills and attitudes for successful transition from high school to post-secondary education and employment.
  • Personal/social centers on maximizing each student’s individual growth and social maturity in the areas of personal management and social interaction.
